Bedroom Fire Quickly Extinguished

Fond du Lac Fire Rescue crews were called into action again Friday afternoon. When crews arrived to the 100 block of S. Seymour Street, just before 3:20 p.m., they found a 2^nd story bedroom on fire. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames, and the fire was contained to just the bedroom. All occupants of the home were able to exit prior to crews arriving. The fire appears to have started on a mattress. Fond du Lac PD also assisted at the scene. Fire Rescue crews will be out canvassing the area today (10/31), handing out fire safety literature.
