Berlin Intruder Shot At

A homeowner in Berlin shot at an intruder who entered a home in the 100 block of West Liberty Street Saturday night. Berlin Police say the suspect left the scene in a light blue minivan. The suspect was a white man with short blonde hair. He was wearing gray sweatpants, a black hoodie, and white tennis shoes. Police Chief Dennis Plantz says there is no imminent threat to the community, it was an isolated incident. The incident was reported at 7:16 p.m.
