Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation Of Manitowoc Roncalli High School

A high school in Manitowoc was evacuated Wednesday after a bomb threat was called in to the school.

Manitowoc police say they were notified shortly after 11:30 Wednesday morning, that a call was made to the Manitowoc Fire Department, informing them of the bomb threat at the high school.

Law enforcement and school officials cleared the high school entirely, and with assistance of bomb-sniffing dog units from Green Bay and Brown County, the school was searched.

There was nothing unusual found. The matter remains under investigation, but it is believed the person that made the call is not from the area.
