Bond Set At $1,000,000 In Janesville Shooting

The man charged in Janesville’s first homicide of 2022 appeared in Rock County Court on Friday, where court Commissioner Stephen Meyer set bond at a million dollars.

“This is one of those situations where . . . it’s a first offense, but an extremely, extremely dangerous first event. The public absolutely needs a million dollars cash bail on this.”

Kevin Todd is being held on charges of first-degree intentional homicide, and three counts of recklessly endangering safety while armed. The 30 year-old victim of Tuesday’s workplace shooting at Precision Drawn Metals remained unidentified as of Friday.
