Brandon Man Gets Four More Years

A Brandon man serving time in prison for an attempted bank robbery, will receive another four years. 40-year old Daniel Landis attempted to open the cash drawers at the Wisconsin River Bank located in Janesville back in January 2019. Landis took off from the scene, and made his way through Janesville at a high rate of speed while operating a motorcycle.

Police were able to apprehend Landis, and took him into custody on charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety. Landis eventually accepted a plea agreement. Rock County Judge Barbara McCrory sentenced him Monday to four years of prison time followed by four years of extended supervision, which he will serve consecutively to prison time he is currently serving from a previous conviction for a bank robbery in Vernon County.
