Breakfast On The Farm

Early morning rain didn’t dampen attendance for the annual Breakfast on the Farm at the J&J Pickart Farm in Malone Sunday. There were plenty of smiles on the faces of those walking into the breakfast. Fond du Lac County’s Fairest of the Fair Alexis Newton greeted people taking their tickets and passing out plates and plastic utensils. This wasn’t her first Breakfast on the Farm. She says in addition to the great food it gives people a chance to see all of the things that agriculture has to offer. A trio of clowns entertained kids with balloon animals, jokes and tricks. Baby Cakes the Clown even told KFIZ’s Bob Nelson a joke. For the adults there was music, tours, and a chance to win a top prize of $3,000 in the Ag Ambassador Raffle. The drawing is this Wednesday morning on the Breakfast Club at 9:10 a.m.
