Brewers Home Opener Postponed Due to Positive COVID Tests in Cardinals Organization

The 2020 home opener for the Milwaukee Brewers has been
postponed. The team was set to open play at Miller Park this (Friday) afternoon
against the St. Louis Cardinals, but as multiple sources have reported and
later confirmed, the game has been postponed because of positive tests for
COVID-19 in the Cardinals organization. The Cardinals are reportedly isolating
at their hotel in Milwaukee and will not travel to the stadium. This situation
is still developing, and it’s currently unknown if the series will continue as
scheduled this weekend.
