Brown Boots Names New Vice President

Fond du Lac, Wis. – BrownBoots Interactive Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Patrick Rose to the position of vice president.

As vice president, Rose will help guide the strategic direction of the company as well as continue to spearhead the agency’s banking industry initiative—a specialized focus on website development and marketing services tailored to banks and credit unions nationwide.

Rose has been with BrownBoots for more than four years, providing exemplary customer service and project management to a variety of BrownBoots clients as an account executive. In that time, he played an essential role in the development of custom web tools and security protocols to help banks and credits unions better serve their customers.

“Patrick’s expertise and experience with financial institutions has already proven invaluable,” Alan Hathaway, president and owner of BrownBoots, said. “As we look at the projected growth of the banking niche and the success of the agency as a whole, we are excited about what Patrick will contribute.”

Prior to joining BrownBoots, Rose spent six and a half years at HSA Bank in Sheboygan. As the Communications Coordinator, he was responsible for the maintaining and updating the website, copywriting and content development, design and distribution, advertising, social media and public relations.

During his tenure as account executive at BrownBoots, Rose led the charge on innovations to the agency’s approach to bank websites, including implementing ADA compliance measures, increasing the security of web hosting at SSAE-16 certified data centers, automating website audits for compliance, creating the easy-update rates tool, and making other enhancements to BrownBoots’ proprietary content management system.

The result has been a steady stream of responsive, engaging bank websites that get noticed for all the right reasons as well as an award-winning website recognized by The Financial Brand among the most Inspirational & Responsive Banking Website Designs of the year.

“Partnering with so many banks and credit unions to improve their websites and marketing communications has been a rich and rewarding experience,” Rose said. “I look forward to future projects with these financial institutions while elevating the brands of others financials across the country.”
