Bucket Brigade A Success

Donations during the KFIZ/107.1 The Bull Bucket Brigade ranged from small to very generous. The Fond du Lac Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle campaign benefits from donations collected in stations’ parking lot. Steve Pieper of Fond du Lac Firefighters Local 400 was among those collecting donations Friday. He says they enjoy helping out. Salvation Army Captain Steve Wilson was collecting when some bigger donations came in, checks for $600 and $250. Later Charles Schwab donated a check for $2,000. All donations were appreciated. Michels Corporation provided a match of up to $8,000. The overall campaign goal this season is $160,000.
