Bucks Re-Sign Lopez, Complete Sign-and-Trade with Indiana for Brogdon

The Milwaukee Bucks have officially announced two roster
moves that were announced just as the free agency period began last week. The
team announced Saturday that they have re-signed free agent center Brook Lopez
and completed a sign-and-trade with Indiana for Malcolm Brogdon.

Lopez, an 11-year NBA veteran, averaged 12.5 points. 4.9
rebounds and a career-high 2.2 blocks per game in 81 games with the Bucks last
year. Lopez, known as “Splash Mountain”, shot 45-percent overall, and 36
percent from three-point range, setting the league record for threes made by a
center in a single season with 187.

Meanwhile, the Bucks acquired a future first-round and two
future second-round draft picks in exchange for guard Malcolm Brogdon as part
of their sign-and-trade with the Indiana Pacers. Brogdon appeared in 187 games in
three seasons with Milwaukee. He averaged 12.8 points, 3.6 assists and 3.5
rebounds per game with the Bucks.
