Bucks Use Strong 4th Quarter to Rally Past Hawks, Win Game 3 of Series

Eastern Conference Finals – Game 3: 

Milwaukee 113, Atlanta 102

–Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton each recorded a double-double as the Bucks used a big fourth quarter to rally past the Hawks in game three and take a 2-1 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. 

Milwaukee outscored Atlanta 30-17 in the final quarter after the game was tied at halftime, and the Hawks ended the third up by two at 85-83. 

Middleton scored 38 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out seven assists, while Giannis had 33 points and 11 rebounds in the victory. Jrue Holiday only scored six points, but was in double figures for assists in the game with 12. Bobby Portis also added 15 points off the bench in the win. 

It was the Trae Young show for Atlanta in game three – with the point guard scoring 35 points on 12-of-23 shooting – including six three-pointers in the loss. Danilo Gallnari was the next closest scorer for the Hawks, chipping in 18 points off the bench. 

The series stays in Atlanta for Game Four on Tuesday night. Tipoff is 7:30 PM.
