Buttlerball Turkey Recalling 78,000 Pounds of Ground Turkey – At Least 4 WI Residents Sickened

State officials are investigating an outbreak of salmonella infections linked to Butterball turkey products. Butterball is voluntarily recalling over 78,000 pounds of raw ground turkey after people have gotten sick from salmonella. At least four Wisconsin residents have gotten sick from the butterball products, while another person in Minnesota also got sick after eating ground turkey – but the brand of turkey consumed is not known. The products subject to recall have an establishment number of EST. P-7345 inside the USDA mark of inspection.
