Campbellsport Man Being Treated after being Stabbed in Altercation

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says a 40-year-old Campbellsport man is being treated for injuries after he was stabbed on Monday.

A news release says Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Campbellsport Ambulance were dispatched to a home on Killdeer Avenue in the Village of Campbellsport for a report of an altercation between a man and his girlfriend.

The man was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening. The 36-year-old woman involved was taken into custody and Is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail pending formal charges.

The incident remains under investigation.
