Campbellsport Names New District Administrator

The Campbellsport School District Board of Education announced Thursday that the new District Administrator will be Thomas Wissink, current High School Principal at the New Richmond School District.

Following approval at the March 7, 2022 Campbellsport School District Board of Education meeting, Mr. Wissink will start July 1, 2022.  Mr. Wissink will be replacing District Administrator Mr. Paul A Amundson who has served the District for 9 years.

In a press release issued by Deborah Senn, School Board President, it was stated “Mr. Wissink stood out from a solid pool of candidates for his proven abilities to lead through teamwork, professional development of staff, and implementing innovative student supports.”

Wissink said “Central is my belief that every student can learn and that great teachers make the difference.”

While at New Richmond High School, Mr. Wissink helped implement dual enrollment credits and the Building Assets, Reducing Risks (BARR) program for all 9th graders.

The New Richmond High School has been recognized by U.S. News & World Reports as one of the Best High Schools in the U.S. and Wisconsin for 9 consecutive years (2013-present).
