Campbellsport School Referendum Next Tuesday

Campbellsport School District voters will be asked next Tuesday to approve a $25 million, 20 year referendum. Campbellsport Schools Superintendent Paul Amundson says the majority of improvements the referendum would finance would be for improvements at the middle-high school. He says an older portion of the building would be demolished and new structures would be put up. He says some improvements would help them meet the curriculum for the need of students such as the technical education students. He says they also need to improve the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system at Eden Elementary. Amundson says people can get a more detailed explanation of their needs and the break down of the financial impact on taxpayers at the school district website. He says traditionally the Campbellsport School District has been very fiscally responsible.
