Campbellsport Schools Referendum Fails

Voters in the Campbellsport School District turned down a $25 million facilities referendum in Tuesday’s election. The referendum was defeated by nearly 300 votes (1429 to 1137 votes). District Superintendent Paul Amundson says they are disappointed, but the community has decided. He says the school board will regroup and decide what to do next including whether they should take a stab at another referendum.
