Car Train Accident Victim Improving

The 26-year-old Fond du Lac man who drove his car into a Canadian National freight train on Scott Street in Fond du Lac early Monday morning is improving at a Neenah hospital. An official at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center says Bayron Sanchez Navarro is now in good condition. The accident happened just before 3 a.m. Monday morning. Police say he failed to stop for the crossing signals activated by the train that was heading towards the rail yard in North Fond du Lac. Flight for Life flew him to Theda Clark.
