Case Dismissed Against Alleged Prostitution Ringleader

A case against a 27-year-old Fond du Lac man that allegedly spearheaded a prostitution ring has been dismissed without prejudice. Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney says the case against Beau Brown was dismissed on the state’s motion based on proof issues. He says the matter continues to be investigated and additional charges could be filed at a later date. Last month Brown was convicted of felon in possession of a firearm, and domestic battery and disorderly conduct charges stemming from incidents in July of 2016. He was credited for time served and placed on probation for two years.
