Chaney Named Marian University Associate VP For Academic Affairs

Marian University has named Dr. Kelly Chaney to the position of Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Graduate Studies, effective July 1st.  She joined Marian University as Dean of the School of Education in June, 2016.  Previously, she served Blackburn College, Carlinville, Illinois, for eight years as a Professor of Education and Education Department Chair, most recently leading the institution as Interim Provost.  

Dr. Chaney earned a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Higher Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois.  In addition, she also holds an M.S.Ed. in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Truman State University, Kirksville, Missouri.
