Change Coming in Salvation Army Leadership
In just under three weeks, new leadership will be coming to the Fond du Lac area Salvation Army. Captains Steve and Telinda Wilson – who have served the community for the past six years – have been reassigned to a new post in Janesville. Steve says he compares the assignments and movement within the Salvation Army to the change of guard in the military. He tell us “one commander leaves, another one comes in. They get shipped around, moved around and there’s no overlap. So the day they move out is the day we move in. We really rely on the staff that’s there and the advisory board as well to be able to fill us in on what’s happening and what’s going on in the next six months and where the needs are.”
The last day the Wilsons will serve the Fond du Lac community is June 24th.
