Changes Planned As WIAA Girls Sate Tourney Kicks Off Today In Green Bay

The
Wisconsin high school girls’ basketball
tournament will go on as scheduled, despite coronavirus concerns. The WIAA is saying that the events will only allow for 88 tickets per school, however. That includes the Girls State tournament at the Resch Center,
which kicked off today. There’ll be minimal spectators in the stands, and players can
shake hands and give high-fives. The WIAA says there will also be announcements
about proper hygiene during the tournament.
