Chase Suspect Back In Court

The 25-year-old Appleton man who allegedly led authorities on a high speed chase through Fond du Lac and Washington counties early Christmas morning is back in a Washington County courtroom this afternoon.  Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies tried to stop Adam Piotrowski who was southbound on Interstate 41. He was eventually stopped just south of Highway 144 in Washington County’s Town of Polk after driving his car into the vehicle of a sheriff’s supervisor, who then fired at him to get him to stop. Officers used a taser to take him into custody. Piotrowski is being held in the Washington County Jail on a $35,000 cash bond.
