Child Hit By Car

(Update)-Oshkosh Police say a 5-year-old boy hit by a vehicle Friday in the
300 block of Foster Avenue died of the injuries he suffered in the accident.
Oshkosh Firefighter paramedics took him to a local hospital. The accident was reported just before 6 p.m. Friday night. His name was not released.

A five-year-old child was struck by a car in the 300 block of Foster Street in Oshkosh on Friday night.  The Oshkosh Police Department says it happened at 5:56pm.  The child was transported to a local hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.   The investigation continues by the Oshkosh Police Department Crash Investigation Team.
