Child Tax Rebate Totals Over $94 Million

Nearly 558,000 families filed for Wisconsin’s $100 child tax rebate earlier this year. Between May 15^th and July 2^nd, families were able to apply to receive $100 for each dependent child under the age of 18. More than $94 million was returned to taxpayers in claims for 942,000 children. That’s short of the $122 million that could have been claimed by eligible families.
