Children’s Room Closed At FDL Public Library For Carpeting Project

The project to install new carpeting at the downtown Fond du Lac Public Library will force the closure of the Children’s Room for several days starting today. It is expected to reopen by Sunday. “Closing the Children’s Room for a few days will shorten the time that space will be disrupted,” said Assistant Director Lori Burgess. “We’re taking this step to ensure the safety of our young visitors.” During the temporary room closure, staff will be on hand to search for and retrieve anything the public needs. Programs for children, such as Storytimes, will continue as planned.
