Chilton High School Teacher Attends Financial Literacy Training

Bonnie Mallmann, a teacher at Chilton High School, attended the National Institute of Financial and Economic Literacy (NIFEL) training July 29-31 at Edgewood College in Madison. The training focused on equipping educators with tools they need to teach students about consumerism, budgeting in the real world, credit education, money and inflation.

The state’s Department of Financial Institutions and its Office of Financial Literacy coordinate the annual NIFEL training with Edgewood College. The NIFEL training is now in its 13th year and has provided personal financial education training for nearly 800 educators.
