Citations Issued At Hobb’s Woods For Overparking

Hobb’s Woods re-opened to the public on Friday. And as you can expect, the number of visitors over the weekend was extremely high. The FDL County Sheriff’s Department received a call just before 2:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon for a report of too many cars parked in the area. The parking lot was jammed full, and cars were parked out on the street. The Sheriff’s Department had warned motorists that parking was allowed only in the parking lot, and that cars located outside of that area would be ticketed. According to department logs from Saturday afternoon, there were at least 4 citations issued for illegal parking.
