City Of FDL Police And Fire/Rescue Look To Add 6 To Staffs

As the Fond du Lac City
Council continues to work towards a possible referendum question to add
additional staff members to the city Police and Fire departments, the leaders
of those departments are highlighting why those additions are necessary to keep
the city running.

City of Fond
du Lac Police Chief Bill Lamb
tells KFIZ News an
increase in calls for service, and numerous changes in the field of law
enforcement and fire and rescue have led to the need for additional staff
members to make sure city residents are served properly.

Chief Lamb said that the Police and Fire
departments are asking for six new staff members each to help meet the staffing
needs.
The earliest the referendum question on the staff
additions would appear on the ballot is April of 2021.
