City Of Fond du Lac Winter Parking Rules Are Now In Effect, And Being Enforced

Now that the first significant snowfall of the season is in the books – the City of Fond du Lac Police Department says it’s a good time for residents to remember the city’s winter parking rules are being enforced.

Crime Prevention Officer Erik Foster says those rules go into effect starting at 8 PM each night – with parking allowed on the even side of the street on even numbered days, and on the odd side of the street on odd numbered days.

“There are snow plows that need to get down the street, to make sure they are taken care of. And if there are cars in the way, City Staff will contact us and we will issue a citation to those as well.”

The City’s winter parking rules run through March 15^th. Winter Parking restrictions are also in place in the Village of North Fond du Lac.
