City Worker Scam Reported In Oshkosh
Oshkosh Police are looking for a
Hispanic man who posed as a City worker Thursday afternoon in the 600 block of
Florida Avenue. He said he needed to trim some trees and as he spoke with the
homeowner. As he talked with the homeowner a second person
entered the home and stole some jewelry. The two suspects left in a white van.
The man the homeowner spoke with was Hispanic, 5 foot 5 five inches tall and
stocky. He was wearing a red sweatshirt. Anyone with information on the incident
or similar incidents is asked to call Oshkosh Police at 920-236-5700.
