“Code Red” Incident In Kingston Results In One Taken Into Custody

An early Thursday morning disturbance call in Kingston resulted in one person taken into custody.

The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Department was notified Thursday June 30, 2022, at approximately 12:30am, of a disturbance on Vine Street in the Village of Kingston.  

Law Enforcement responded to the scene and subsequently attempted to locate the suspect of a domestic disturbance who had fled the scene on foot.  While officers were at the victim’s residence, the suspect approached the scene and then fled yet again.  

Deputies on scene requested assistance from the Drone Team and the K-9 Unit in an attempt to locate the individual.  Those units responded to the scene and were also assisted by Marquette County and Columbia County Deputies.  

The suspect eventually came out of the marsh and surrendered to deputies on scene.  The suspect, Christopher L. Holcomb, age 38, was transported to the Green Lake County Correctional Facility.
