Columbus Man Sentenced For Meth Trafficking

A 45-year-old Columbus man has been sentenced to seven years in prison and four years of extended supervision on federal methamphetamine trafficking charges. William Marks was arrested in July following a joint investigation by the Dodge County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force and the Justice Department. He drove truck for his family’s business Mark’s Trucking of Beaver Dam. Two others were also charged federally.  Over a four year-year period Marks and a cousin used the company to bring seven pounds of meth and 140 pounds of marijuana to Wisconsin.
