Committees Will Have Role In Career Construction Academy

Two committees will have a role in the planning for the Career Construction Academy that will be built at the Fond du Lac High School. Bob Roehrig says one of those was a curriculum committee made up of representatives from the local construction industry. It’s a support tool for Vern Widmer who is the technical education teacher who builds the curriculum. The committee will help Widmer with something he has had to do on his own in the past. The other committee is a promotions committee that will put together a program to educate middle school students on what the courses in the academy will have to offer. It will help with planning career days. Ground will be broken on the 6,000 square foot facility on March 1st.
