Community COVID-19 Testing Site Opening in FDL Next Week

The Fond du Lac County Health Department is offering a weekly, free drive-thru community COVID-19 testing site starting next week.

The testing site at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds will be open on Thursdays from 11 AM until 7 PM starting October 22nd, with testing being handled by members of the Wisconsin National Guard.

Testing is available to any Wisconsin resident, age five and up. Those experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive are encouraged to get tested.

No appointment is necessary to be tested, but people looking to get a test are encouraged to register 24 hours in advance by visiting register.covidconnect.wi.gov.

People in line for a test are required to wear masks, remain in their vehicles, and are asked to prepare for long wait times.

The testing site will be open on the following dates:

October 22nd

October 29th

November 5th

November 12th

November 19th

December 3rd

December 10th.

The testing site will be closed on November 26th because of the Thanksgiving holiday. The testing site may also close early each day if it reaches its daily testing capacity.
