Congressman Grothman Testifies On Working Families Flexibility Act

Congressman Glenn Grothman testified this week in favor of a bill that would give people the option of taking cash if they work over 40 hours in a week or comp time to spend with family in-lieu of that money. Grothman spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives in favor of the Working Families Flexibility Act, which he is co-sponsoring. He says some people would rather take the cash, but others would like the extra time to spend with family. He says for families it is nice to have the option. The federal lawmaker says Government employees have the overtime flexibility option and it is high time that people in the private sector enjoy that same freedom.
