Countryside Auto Donates $4,000 To Dodge County Sheriff’s Department

Sheriff Dale Schmidt and a contingent of the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office were on hand to accept a substantial donation from a local auto dealer.

The sheriff’s office team accepted a $4000 check from Keith Ghanian, the President of Countryside GM Auto Group in Beaver Dam.  This donation was a result of a fundraiser which Countryside does every year for the sheriff’s office as they work to support our community.

This year the funds will go to help purchase license plate reader cameras for use in Dodge County.  According to Sheriff Schmidt, these cameras are invaluable and have been used to help solve bank robberies, vehicle thefts, burglaries, and other serious crimes involving the use of a vehicle.
