County Clerk Says Don’t Wait on Getting Absentee Ballots

The countdown to the November 3rd General Election is on, with just over a month remaining until Election Day. As of Thursday morning, the Wisconsin Elections Commission reported 1.1 million absentee ballots had been requested by voters in Wisconsin, with nearly 123-thousand of them returned. If you’re planning to vote absentee for the upcoming election, Fond du Lac County Clerk Lisa Freiberg says there’s still time to request a ballot, but she urges people not to wait until the October 29thdeadline to do that.
