Cousin Sentenced for Role in Dealing Heroin

A woman from Fond du Lac who was arrested and charged for
having a major role in dealing heroin in the area has been sentenced. 30 year old
Keana Cousin was sentenced to 13 years in prison and 10 years of extended
supervision for conspiracy to deliver heroin between January of 2015 and
February of this year. Cousin was one of 11 people who faced charges after a year-long
investigation and entered a ‘no contest’ plea in court in July. The Lake
Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Drug Group Unit (MEG) estimated that
Cousin was responsible for selling more than 2,000 grams of heroin in the Fond du Lac area. The MEG
unit estimated the street value of the heroin Cousin brought to the area and
resold to be around $350,000.
