COVID-19 Deaths In WI Tops 13,000, But Pace Slowing

There have been more than 13-thousand confirmed COVID-19 deaths in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 13,001 confirmed COVID deaths as of Monday, and another 1,599 probable deaths due to COVID.

DHS data shows some 70 percent of COVID deaths have been among those age 60 and older. The most recent 1,000 confirmed COVID deaths were reported over a three month period.

The previous 1,000 deaths took a little more than a month, and that’s an indication that pace of deaths being reported has slowed.
