Covid-19 Update As Of 3-21-2020

As we head into the first full weekend of a life suspended, it’s important to take a look at where we are as City, and a State. 

Currently, there are 15 positive cases that have been diagnosed in Fond du Lac, with one person dying from the virus. In the state of Wisconsin, there are 206 cases of Covid-19, that have taken the lives of 3. As of Friday, there were 3.455 tests that came back negative. On a state-wide basis, Milwaukee County still has the highest concentration of positive cases, reporting 85 positive cases. Dane County is second with 32 positive cases, and Waukesha County reporting 15 cases. 

There is no simple cure for Covid-19, at least not yet. But there are ways we, as a community, can work together to slow down the attack. Stay vigilant with the washing of your hands. Don’t make unnecessary trips if you don’t have to. Continue to practice social distancing.   If you or anyone in your family is sick, stay home. 

Let’s remain positive. It’s too easy to think of the negatives. And to talk about the negatives. But use this time to remind yourself of all the good things going on as well. We WILL get through this. Together.
