COVID Recovery Rate At 80%

It’s been almost a month. September 5^th to be exact. On that day, Wisconsin saw 10% of all COVID-19 tests come back positive. The seven-day average of positive test percentages has been double digits every day since then. Almost eleven thousand tests were processed on Sunday in the state, with almost two thousand coming back positive. And while the recovery rate remains just over 80%, with over 107,000 statewide, the number of people hospitalized continues to rise as well. Another 58 people were admitted on Sunday, bringing the total of hospitalizations since the pandemic to just over 7,600 in the state. The DHS website shows Fond du Lac County added 73 positive cases over the weekend, and if those numbers stand, would mean the county added 124 cases since Friday. Keep your distance, wash your hands, and stay home if you’re not feeling well.
