Crews Battle Fire On Lakeshore Dr. Friday Morning

An early morning fire caused extensive damage. Fire Crews were called at about 4:31 a.m. Friday morning to W7494 Lakeshore Dr. in the Town of Friendship, where a home was reported on fire. 

Once on the scene, personnel found the home engulfed in flames. The occupant of the home was able to get out safely before crews arrived. The cause of the fire is not known yet, but it’s not considered suspicious. Early indications are that the home may be a total loss. 

Responding to the scene were Van Dyne FD, North Fond du Lac FD and Ambulance, Town of Fond du Lac FD, Town of Eldorado FD, the City of Fond du Lac FD and Ambulance, Ripon FD, Brandon FD, and RIT Team 1.
