Critical Care Physician Welcomed To St Agnes Hospital

Agnesian HealthCare welcomes Muhammad Fuad Bangash, MD, FCCP, a board-certified pulmonology and critical care medicine specialist/intensivist.

Dr. Bangash will work with other physicians to provide 24-hour coverage for patients in the St. Agnes Hospital Intensive Care Unit who are critically ill or injured, or who suffer from acute and chronic pain.

“My goal is to do everything for the patient that I can,” says Dr. Bangash. “The care I provide is driven by patients’ wants and desires, and I want to ensure they are as comfortable as possible at all times.”

Dr. Bangash earned his medical degree from Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan, and his internal medicine residency from Catholic Health Partners, Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. He has a fellowship in hospital-based medicine from Carle Foundation Hospital, University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign, and a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship from the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics.

He is looking forward to being a part of Agnesian HealthCare.

In his spare time, Dr. Bangash enjoys reading (current affairs, poetry and literature), and is active in sports, including cricket, golf and tennis.
