Customer Upset With Mask Rule At FDL Menard’s, Police Called

Menard’s made the announcement Friday that all customers will now be required to wear masks when shopping in their stores. That decision did not sit well with a customer at the Menard’s store in Fond du Lac on Saturday. 

FDL Police were called to the Menard’s location on Rickmeyer Dr. Saturday, just before 11:20 a.m., for a report of a customer who refused to leave the store for failing to put on a mask. The customer became upset that customers were being forced to wear the masks, while employees within the store were seen working without a mask. Police told Menard’s personnel that, unless there’s 100% employee participation on wearing masks in the store, Police can not enforce the rule that customers have to wear them.
