Daily Positive COVID Tests Drop Below 2,000 In WI

The daily positive COVID-19 case count in Wisconsin dropped below 2,000 for the first time in what feels like decades. The WI DHS reported 1,300 positive tests on Friday, well below the almost 6,000 daily average the state has been seeing. Nearly 10,000 tests were processed, with the state now showing negative tests totals of over 2.1 million. 57 people were hospitalized, which again was drastically lower than normal. 17 more deaths were reported as well. Total recoveries topped the 301,000 mark, with the state back over 80% in total recoveries since the start of the pandemic.
