Dan Sitter Runs For FDL School Board

He’s taught in a classroom now a Fond du Lac man would like to be on the Fond du Lac School Board. Dan Sitter taught in Fond du Lac for ten years. He coordinates North Fond du Lac’s Instructional and Technology program. He says he understands the School Board, the Superintendent and every other position not in a classroom is working for the teachers and the kids. He says where the Board comes in to play is setting the table so that the successes in the classroom can happen. He opposes the school voucher program saying taking money from the public and putting it into private institutions is not what school funding had ever been about nor ever should be. He also opposes standardized testing. Sitter is one of four candidates running for two seats on the Fond du Lac School Board.
