Deer Hunters asked to Participate in 11th-annual Wildlife Survey

Deer hunters in Wisconsin are being asked to share their
observations of deer and other wildlife while out hunting. The Wisconsin DNR is
kicking off its 11th-annual Deer Hunter Wildlife Survey when they
2019 deer hunting season begins September 14th. Archery and gun
hunters are asked to record all of their hunting activity throughout the deer
season, even if no wildlife is seen during a hunt. Survey results help track
abundance trends for Wisconsin’s deer herd and other wildlife. The survey can
be complete by desktop computer, by mail or by smartphone. The survey period ends
in January. For more information visit the DNR Website and search “Deer Hunter
Wildlife”.
