Degner Submits Nomination Papers

Current Councilman Dan Degner is the latest to submit nomination papers for Fond du Lac City Council for the upcoming Spring election. Degner submitted the maximum 200 signatures prior to any of the other candidates submitting any signatures.   In a press release Degner stated, “I’m so thankful for the amazing support from members of the Fond du Lac community.” During his first term Degner introduced and passed a COVID relief package that supported small business by giving a 75% refund on alcohol license fees due to Governor Evers shutdown.  He also introduced and passed measurers to improve public safety by creating ordinances that protect the city’s children from convicted child molesters. The release also said “taxpayers have been appreciative of Degner’s votes that have cut the property tax value in two consecutive budgets.”
