DHS’ Palm Says There’s Still Work To Do

Department of Health Services Secretary designee Andrea Palm says peoples’ willingness to celebrate Thanksgiving at home has contributed to a decline in the rate of new COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin

“What we saw coming out of Thanksgiving, we can have a repeat of coming out of Christmas. And while we are going in the right direction, there is a lot of work left to do. And so we need to continue to remain vigilant, and do this work together.”

While new cases and the positive test rate continue to decline, DHS on Thursday reported 59 deaths due COVID-19, for a total of 4,255 lives lost in Wisconsin.
