DHS Secretary-designee Says State At Critical Point In Pandemic

Department of Health Services Secretary designee Andrea Palm says the state is at a critical point in the coronavirus pandemic, and people need to act now to slow the spread.

“For each of us living in Wisconsin, acting now means making the choice to stay home, and when we do go out, wearing a mask. It means practicing good hand hygiene, physical distancing, and getting a test if you have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19.”

More than 100-thousand people in Wisconsin have tested positive for the coronavirus, which is now spreading in all 72 counties.
